  • [Quote=Rapid Ed]I wonder when GM plans to ship the first C8.{/Quote]

Not even GM knows for sure. They will only know after they start making the customer cars and then inspect/dissect some as they come of the line, and then determine an approximate ship date.

I am going with Mike Furman’s estimate that the first ones will around at dealerships approximately Feb. 1st. Could be a week or two earlier; could be a week or two later.

Update - I talked to the ELCO Sales Manager on Friday. The tour date for ELCO Chevrolet was confirmed to be the 12th of October. (They thought either the 12th or 13th a couple weeks ago.)

                  • Well today, I put a deposit on the rumored 1000hp variant at Les Stanford Chevrolet in Dearborn. It’s release is expected in 2022, or 2023 model year. I am number 9 on that waiting list. After leaving Detroit tonight, I’m heading to Corvettes at Carlisle in Pennsylvania. Stanford’s had one on display today, and Carlisle will have six on display. The car is quite easy to get in and out of. I think GM has hit a home run with this one. This however is just my opinion, yours may vary.

                    Regards Brian
