I envision a section dedicated to Corvette, various seat options, leather and paint swatches and a seating area to configure your car in comfort. Perhaps this is what comes with the cost of becoming a signature dealer? Once your order is submitted and approved status perhaps that's when they send you some swag like the coin in the color you selected along with some customized collateral of all your specs and color selections printed in a brochure. This will not only keep you engaged but excited as you wait for your build.

Now is their opportunity to re-invent the corvette brand. A true halo car, high performance, premium white glove experience at an affordable price point. This will elevate the brand to be more in-line with Porsche and Aston. That is exactly what will attract a younger buyer.
Thanks ZoraC2. Very worthy of repeating your comments bolded.

The Jalopnik leaked specs suggested that every one of the above colors will be ME available except Corvette Racing Yellow.

          Plus
the newbies: Accelerate Yellow Metallic, Zeus Bronze, Rapid Blue.

I agree !!! We got a gift with each of our C7’s so a Color Matching Coin would be really cool.

I'm all for GM upping their game in the showroom, but I've highlighted the two words in your post which are at odds with one another -- "premium" and "affordable".

There's no way you'll get Porsche-level attention and treatment and environment (let alone Aston Martin) without paying near-Porsche prices.

I cannot agree with you more! Not only does the concept of "teaching an old dog a new trick" enter in as sale people and managers have been doing business a certain way since inception! But also many Corvette patrons' obsession with "cheap!" Times change and so do car prices! This car has the potential to cost a great deal more and, certainly, white glove service is part of it.

JOHN….. What color did you get??? If they're on top of things, it could be yellow like your "Z".

Depending on where it was shipped from and the service used your coin might be on the way! It's cool how they used C1 script on one side of the coin and what I assume is the C8 font on the other side.

That is my assumption, OR they may be handing them out as people walk in to the actual Reveal building .

I don’t need white glove service just good service. Why try to jack up the price.

I'm not the one jacking it up! I am simply suggesting that anything added to the already substantial array of ingredients to this car, will make it cost more.
