The “Marketing of C8” has taken a page from Apple’s iphone presentation. But expanded it into a longer drama. Other auto marketing departments are probably observing the “process” , instead of the product. It has been dramatic and riveting for the car guy crowd, with paparazzo peeps and intentional and suppressed leaks.
There are much larger examples of broader general interest. Boxing has had Ali and recently Mayweather. Promotion, mystery, hype and drama.
The Super Bowl and World Cup etc. may not quite fit.
07.18.19 is a big act in the C8 drama. But is it Act IV or Act I or which/what? What does the C8 really look like? Mystery. What will it do? Drama. How will it stack-up? Mystery. Cost??? How much will July 18th leave untold. Like in boxing, you don't know the round or when it will end.
