1 ME Question To Ask

Assume you could get one (1) of your many ME questions answered by Tadge & Team?

Sure this is a hypothetical thread, for Tadge et all will not answer a single question about “potential future product” because they want to keep their job. And if one of us were on the Corvette team, would we walk the plank to provide someone else info about the ME.

I am curious as to what others on our forum want to know, i.e., what is that question?

What is the one (1) most important thing to you to know about the ME right now?

My question is: How much later, after the 2020 ME Corvette coupe starts to be manufactured, will the HT convertible start down the assembly line?

OK I'll add a question onto your question. How long after the HTC starts production will the HTC Black Cherry Metallic, or HTC Black Rose Metallic or close color to those start ?
Heck this Color Dark Mustard or whatever its called will work, Its really different and growing on me.

Biggest one for me is the starting price as it may tell more information we want and need to know.

I want to know if there is an N/A version of the 5.5 DOHC motor and if it will be offered the first year out, if so, I may buy the first year.

That is a great question. I too wish that that motor option would exist in year one, but candidly, it is looking more and more unlikely for anything other than a LT1+ until year two.
Conversely, one major auto media was saying “ye”s to a second motor choice for the ME in 2020.

However, we literally do not know if the ME will even have a motor in year one — though that is what most of us think.

Indeed John, it's all pretty much up in the air for all we know, all I can say is I'm ready for January!. The motor choices for year one are certainly something I want to see at the first reveal and less so about the convertible, as it's fairly obvious that it exists.

John, cost will be a major factor for this ole Leatherneck, it may steer me towards a well kept C7 Masterpiece ZR1 or Z06.

I too like the question of a NA 5.5 DOHC V-8, however, even more basic is 'will there ever be a manual transmission option for the ME Corvette?'. Tadge, a couple of years ago you asked from the stage at the BASH, if "there were any Corvette owners that would be willing to pay extra for a manual transmission?" I was one of many that raised their hand. So.....
