  • A C8 Competitor’s Looks

Are the C8’s looks of concern to you? Take a gander against our 2021 competition, specifically the rear of this car. I am personally not “feeling” this,
new 2021, 911 Turbo in any of its three views shown below. While the C8’s equivalent to the Porsche Turbo competition won’t be out for a year, I have heard from a couple of “extremely knowledgeable” that as good as the entry 2020 C8 looks, the Z06 version looks even better. So with that background, thanks to Motor1.com, and cento/ottani, we have three views of the 2021 Porsche Turbo convertible. For more: https://www.motor1.com/photo/4176781...ts-from-italy/

While I accept the Porsche brand excellence in many ways, to own a car takes for most, a love of its looks.

As my oldest granddaughter said, “not feeling the way that thing looks.” However, you might like what you are seeing.

I don’t like the newer Porsche cars. The older ones yes. New ones just have odd shape or proportions.

I guess that ugly rear end is what I’ll see from my C8 Spyder if racing one, I’m okay with that, with my trunk full of cash!😎

How about your C8 Z06 HT being out leading the entire pack?

"this new 2021, 911 Turbo" looks like its mom dated a ZR1.

Maybe they moved the engine forward a few inches, again.

The 911 RSR must be pounding the table at family reunion for permission to play in the consumer market.

Ugly baby. Definitely. Still. Might grow up to "seem" rich, strong, handsome, well connected

The new rear end looks terrible for a 200k car. IMO Porsche has already started to price themselves out of the car market. 75k for a stripped 718, that’s insane. I recently drove a 2018 Cayman S and was completely unimpressed compared to the audible and visceral feelings you get when you drive a Corvette.

Not a fan of the turbo anymore owned a 2002. Fast cat but the only Porches I would own would be a GT version. The new GT4 was just announced i built one on the site after getting a call from my Local Porsche, dealer 133k. He said to expect a market adjustment of 25k I laughed

I think C8 is going to be one hell of a car for the money and WILL attract young and rich buyers. C8 is not C5/6/7.

I totally agree Z Rocks! GM is going to hit a huge home with the C8 bringing in new buyers from import markets that would have never looked at an FE Vette.

The April 2019 acknowlegment of the existence of C8 was big.

The 07-18-19 reveal will be a class A milestone.

                            But what about and when:

Full disclosure of all the specs ???

Independent Review of C8 performance. independent testing???

                            Comparison testing, head to head????

The, or some of the, test mules should be allocated to the major dealers for prospective buyers to at least sit, look and feel before they order. IMO.

Yes, I am extremely concerned with the looks of the C8. And yes, I am holding out for the Z06, Zora, ZR1 widebody or what ever it’s called. GM, Please don’t disappoint me, or the other fine people here! Thanks

                              Regards. Brian
