  • Which Dealership are You Most Likely to Purchase a 2020 Corvette From?

When it comes to ordering/purchasing a new 2020 C8, dealer allocation plays a significant role. A Corvette dealership with significant annual sales will be able to fulfill orders in a more timely manner than those with very few annual sales and allocations.

The Top 5 Corvette Dealerships for 2018 combined for more Corvette sales last year than the next 30 dealerships combined!

If you are considering a 2020 Corvette purchase, which dealership are you most likely to do business with? Personally, Mike Furman at Criswell Chevrolet is my "go to" choice based on the superior experiences I've had with him in the past. Who is your "go to" choice for the 2020 C8 Corvette?

    MacMulkin Chevrolet, Nashua, NH

I'll give local dealer (wherever that happens to be when I decide to pull the trigger) the chance to do fair business at MSRP. If they mess around, not holding my breath, I'll go out of state to one of the sponsor dealers for the forum that deal at MSRP. Fly out, drive home. I've done it before. Gives you a nice time to acclimate to the car.

Local dealer for me the same one that sold me their first C7 with no mark up and GM card discount. Fingers crossed on the GM card thing.

I bought a 2019 Corvette last year from my local Chevy dealer. The salesman told me he would take a $5,000 deposit from me and I would be on the list for a new 2020 C8 Corvette. He also said that the $5,000 deposit was not refundable. Needless to say I'm not going to buy a C8 from that dealership again.

O_o To say you've wanted a C8 would be an understatement.

Ever since I read about the upcoming mid engine Corvette in the 1960’s. Wonder if Mike was accepting deposits then...

I am not even at the top of Mike’s list (but very close); thankfully with his getting 50 ME allocations each month, the factory doing two shifts, there will be plenty for all.

I’m going through Boardwalk Chevrolet on the west coast myself. While I definitely would like to pick it up from the museum or other dealerships for the long drive back, I’d rather deal with someone local since this is my first GM car.

I wish I had the option of one of the forum sponsor dealers, but cross-border issues put a cramp on that. Instead I'll be going with a local dealer who only has about 1/20th the sales volume of the big guys. Cross-fingers on allocation.

Good choice. They will have allocation! If you have not talked to Steven Skok there, please mention my name and that you are a member of this forum. Thanks.

I can't afford one now and am still saving lol. When I can though, live in a small city in Canada. So I'm either going to have to order it from my local dealership (they only carry about 2-3 Corvettes at a time) or travel about 3 hours to a larger city.

Hope your plan works well for you. The nice thing about traveling to another city to pick it up, is the wonderful road trip home from there. We have done that via a 2,500 mile trip home.

We also understand that our Canadian friends have a completely different situation than buying in the U.S. We wish we could help you directly!!!

I will buy from the dealer who shares some of the margin. Read into that what you may. In short, for cash I don't care to pay MSRP. Wish me luck. Charlie aka cutnout

Once the Z06 is out, local dealer will be my primary choice.
