Carbon Fiber Dash option

Happy Fathers day All,

I have another question:
I have to believe there will be a CF dash option since it was a C7 option for I think $995.00 (CF interior appearance package). Do you think the cost will be the same or close like $1,100.00? If so I'm in! I would also like to see other CF options but the dash is an absolute must have for me.

I love my C7 OEM visible carbon fiber dash. However, on the Jalopnik leaked options, there only two visible CF options listed (roof and front grille insert), so I am guessing that that alone confirms that the Jalopnik list is incomplete (we all hope).

If there would be a visible CF dash option offered on the C8, I will definitively order it.

Curious- Living in the sunshine state, Does the sun reflect off of the carbon fiber and cause any glare problems? I am planning on the Vert. Thanks for your response as I am unaware.

Toward the end of C7 generation, at least for some models/editions, GM brought some matte in addition to their regular, glossy, visible CF components. If not, APSIS USA has 100% of their high quality visible carbon fiber in both matte and glossy — though like all aftermarket, going to take them a while to first get a part, then make their copies.

id suggest if at all possible gm will offer what you want...

maybe its standard or maybe its just an unlisted option on the jalopnik option list as John suggested...

without question somehow...some way you will get what you want...

I too am in on a CF dash, but it needs to be more high end looking, if that makes sense. It can't be a mix of black accents and CF, for me anyway. What I'm proposing might be the 4LT option we've been hearing about. I obviously have no real clue, but CF dash should mimic the higher end Euro machines.

I very much hope there are more interior options especially for real Carbon Fiber like:

Dash
Center Stack/console
Steering Wheel
Door Accents

My 2019 has the carbon dash option and it is
matte. There wasn’t a choice of glossy or matte on the option list.

That is interesting and informative. Thanks German When I got my option “FAY” in 2015 there was no option but glossy. Maybe GM has replaced glossy with matte?
