Wow! Then this will kick the 3LZ Z06 coupe base MSRP up to $93,545.00 in theory based on that $26k difference we've been told between the Stingray and Z06.....

It's only higher than it's been in 40 years. I remember those dark days.

Is this legitimate news regarding a price increase?

Strange it says the following when MY2023 deliveries have already commenced:

"This revision affects base model prices for 2022 MY Corvette."

To me, reading between the lines, Chevy is now prepared to announce initial Z06 pricing.

So if you have an order in 1100 status, is that considered "Customer Order Date"? Are we price protected at all?

This is my guess as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see pricing this week.

If it was input as a SOLD ORDER, it is price protected. Retail Stock orders are not protected.

It came straight to my dealership email from GM and verified by pulling up the GM pricing schedule in GlobalConnect so it's definitely legit. The 2022 in the email is a typo.

                      Thanks for the clarification!

Bummer to read about the price increase, but not surprised with all things considered in the economy.

Thanks for the info. It says "Order Type:SRE - Retail Sold", so hopefully the listed MSRP will be honoured!

This is what mine says as well. It says order accepted. However I had to wait until this month to find out if I can get the Magride.

well... this stings a bit but is to be expected. We got a pleasant surprise with how little the price increased YoY initially. Now my build just got $3100 more expensive... responsible budgeting has been blown. Time to find areas to cut or wait six months to save more and hope for no more increases. Have to say, it could have been a lot worse.

Just remind your dealer that they need to honor the original ordered price and that their open account will be credited the difference between the original price and the higher price by GM.
