  • C8 Camo Shirts: Not Yet But Maybe

Demand for a C8 camo shirt remains very large. Thus, as requested by one of our members 455SDguy (thank you), I called my friend Tammy who is the Corvette Store Manager to inquire as to if the Store would be offering them, or as is typical of clothing items warn by the Corvette team members, perhaps n limited in their availability.

Tammy just called me back and said that she and GM have been discussing this possibility, and while an initial “NO” was not received, nor was a “YES.” However, there was a GM merchandizing manager’s response, “Let see IF we could do something similar.”

My reading the tea leaves (just my opinion) is that we would see a camo shirt available at the Corvette store that is similar to what is pictured below, but again this is still far from a certainty. As to the degree that it is similar, or different, that too is currently unknown.

Stay tuned. I personally believe we COULD have an exciting option of a camo shirt for those who would want, perhaps in time for the Caravan.

Thanks 455SDguy for re-raising this shirt possibility, though it was clear that Tammy had long ago started communicating with GM about the shirt’s possibility. IF there is one available, we will extensively publicize that after we hear from NCM’s Marketing and Promotions Manager Katie Ellison.

I told several of the Corvette team members that I'd love to have one so I hope it happens. It will go well with the paint sample that Kai passed out.

I've grown to hate that camo on the C8. The last thing I want to see, is more camo...

You are very kind. The thought however would be sufficient.

I will bet once we see naked C8’s, we will nostalgically look back at the “old days,” think fondly of our fumbling efforts to figure out the C8, and actually enjoy the camo shirts at that time.

Doubt the shirts would be out before 7.19.19....

Beer belly or 6 pack abs,, under the camo shirt we will never know. Should be popular among the “older “ corvette guys.
