Hmmm, what could it be? Panels with the new colors? An options list? Ordering date?

Perhaps the reveal location. Perhaps the emblem? Perhaps raffling something off (proceeds to NCM), relating to the reveal.

These are just WAGs. I wish I new, but then again only 8 more days and we will know what these two are.

From the NCM ENEWS email that just went out.

Two C8 'New Things' Planned for the Michelin NCM Bash Next Week

If you've not yet made plans to attend next week's Michelin NCM Bash, the announcement of the 8th generation Corvette might help you change your mind! "We have some exciting news about the next generation Corvette to share and are bringing a few new things," shared Megan Marquis, Chevrolet Corvette Marketing & Advertising. A camo wrapped Corvette has already been spotted at a gas station near the Museum, and enthusiasts have expressed their hope of witnessing one driving by the event.

The annual GM presentation will take place on Friday from 9-10:30am CT, and again Saturday at 8:45am. One of each model of 2019 Corvette, including each of the new Drivers' Edition will be on display, too.

While pre-registration has ended, on-site registration will be available for $20 for Lifetime Members, $25 for Members, and $35 for non-members. Registration covers all three days and includes Museum admission.

Great find/post Brad! Thanks. Two more reasons we are driving 2,500 miles to get to the BASH.

Ok. Maybe a drive by, in camo. Maybe a slide, slipped into another presentation, of some part of the c8 un camo’ed, shown for a second.
Or, maybe keychains or stickers of Zora’s silhouette. Or, for a really far fetched, wild thought. A blindfolded ride in a C8 for some lucky pup.

Better be you. I’d have to pull the blindfold off.

                  -- LT2 at 500 hp or more

Very exciting indeed!! I think the campaign has begun... I wonder if we’ll see our first video teaser at the Bash... or soon thereafter.

New model Michelins developed for the C8

A DCT gearbox, with the side cut away, to see its internal operation in slow motion. (That would be he kind of thing they would have at a 1950s Motorama)

I agree FrankLP. I am going to start a thread that will a “cold” recounting of information released on each of the reveal tease days — rather than it be a “commentary thread.”

As each step occurs, it will keep being built on, so on July 18th we have in one piece the entire C8 reveal process in one place.

It was a major challenge to re-create roughly five years later what the C7’s tease process was. Here is that C7’s pre-reveal recounting (though in hindsight it should have had a different title).

Get well! I think the bash announcement is going to be the LT 2 powerplant will prodice in excess of 500 hp!

Fwiw...my father in law 25 years ago had a massive heart attack...he had quadruple bypass ...it was real touch and go...meanwhile that SOB went on to recover and become a national handball champion for decades...that 81 year old is still travelling the USA and canada playing handball toruraments and winning...(of course these days he is playing against the young guys in their late 60s and 70s but Im sure you get my drift.

keep the faith and best wishes for a speedy recovery...
