  • Corvette Blvd. webcam changed--not zoomed out enough!

The webcam camera for the NCM showing Corvette Blvd. was changed. It's one of those Rhombus cameras and the resolution seems poor and is zoomed in to close--does not show the entire lineup of C8s as it did before.

I will inquire of NCM as to its settings but this seems pretty good to me in terms of clarity. brad66 is our specialist in this area Dan not available for a little bit. Thanks for noting!

I left a voice mail with NCM CEO Sharon Brauner asking her to have the right member of her staff look into how the one on Corvette Blvd is focused for MECF members enjoy watching it/them daily.

      Thanks John.

Seems too dark as well. Needs more contrast?

It is a new camera that was just turned on yesterday. Resolution looks much better to me.

They adjusted it once this morning but it will take some time to make it right. It requires a ladder or lift to get to the camera and they likely don't want to do that during business hours.

Yes, on second look, the resolution is good. Just need to adjust the zoom and contrast. You'd think they could have done that at install with someone looking online while they did the adjustments.

As of right now (about 10 AM) several of the cameras don't work. Probably offline for some tuning work. FYI, John, if you talk to the museum folks, I am curious why the number 7 camera never is on, also the Outside Front or Back cameras never work. I once asked but got some reply about testing new camera at 7 but never saw any pictures.Anyway, the front circle and track cameras work, and it seems to be a nice day there. --Bob

At least red is red now and not orange. Good upgrade. Will be better when they fix the zoom

Resolution is much better, but it will take some adjusting of the camera and zoom. I watch this more than any other on line streaming webcam (okay, so I don't watch any others, but you get my point), so I will wait patiently for them to make the appropriate tweaks and continue watching fellow happy c8 owners.

I have 6 Out-Door Hi-Def/Infra-Red Cameras around my property and they've worked flawlessly for more than eight years. They just need to get a good set of Cameras, have them installed professionally and they'll be maintenance free for years.

If you go to the top right corner of the screen you can zoom in or zoom out. When you are zoomed in, you can also drag the picture with your mouse to see the entire picture frame. It does appear that they need to adjust the default zoom however.

I seem to also have a good bit of trouble with the cams, # 7 hasn't worked in 7 months or so.
