Six ME Seatbelt Colors

Again relying on what NBVette4U says he saw on his Canadian dealer’s WorkBench Connect software system, we are going to have a large choice of even seat belt colors. Here’s what he shared with us.

Black

Red

Yellow

Gray

Tan

Blue

Can somebody make a Corvette Shirt with the seat belt on it? I hate wearing a seat belt.

Choices. Choices. Wonder if Black will be the "standard" color for the seat belts with the others being options. Maybe the seat belt colors come into play with the higher trim levels.

That would make an interesting closet full of clothes. I don’t mind a seatbelt if they fit right. My 18 GMC is good, everything else we own not so much.

I don't know if I'd like contrasting seat belts, unless as part of a two tone interior package. That red belt with black in the pix ... nah!!

I think most of the seatbelt colors sell like crazy. I am not sure however whether I will be getting other than black.

I think some combos look good and others don’t. As with everything beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder.

No orange? I'm heartbroken!

All these interior and seatbelt colors could let you build a truly ugly interior! Hopefully GMs order system has some unallowed color combinations. I'm thinking a red interior with yellow seatbelts, for example.

I suppose if I ordered a red car, I'd consider red belts, or yellow with yellow. I think both would look good combined with the same color stitching on the seat and dash.

We have yet to see all the specs. Might we again have a special edition like the 2014 Premiere? More options yet later announced?

this is awesome as its an easy and relatively inexpensive profit center for gm...

options like this enable the corvette team to keep the msrp of the standard car reasonable...

ill stutter by with black seat belts....

The one thing I would really like, and my belief we will see this, is many different colored stitching opptions. GM made a lot of money selling those during the C7 era, and I expect we shall see them offered on the C8.

If nothing else, even a C8 test version had red stitching. Let’s hope for those who wish, also a blue, a yellow, a tan, and an orange stitching option. [
The C7 offered standard an off-while/light gray, then optional red, yellow blue @ $395, and for the SO Design Package for the ZR1, no extra cost orange stitching.]
