E60 front end lift is my # 1 option. But so is UVA and DRZ. Can I have three #1’s? Have my car equipped just like yours Plasboy?

I would consider all the above minus Onstar as I have had it in most cars and never used it. I better knock on wood.

The OnStar debate often lights up a forum. I was able to use it twice to make a very important, but not emergency, call when I wanted. Living in an area with many parts still having no cell service, and doing extensive road trips through the western U.S. and Canada, it is something I choose to pay for. I sure understand many will choose not.

I will too. The visibility in the C8 might be fine without them (something else to later learn), but with them if I could better see and avoid someone from driving into us...

I want a version of UD7 that blares the horn when someone ELSE is backing too close to my car. I've been hit twice in parking lots by people backing up.

Otherwise, DRZ seems like it should be standard with the limited rear visibility it looks like the C8 will have.

I'll pass on On-Star and perhaps rear cross-traffic, but the others sound good. Albeit, I want to see how DRZ and UVA work before I spend stand-alone money for them. I am sure they will all be packaged in some way that will **** us all off (something else, that we do not want, will be mandatory to get the ones we want ... that is just hw it goes). This is sort of fun ... but I want to see the car!

I am afraid we are going to get OnStar whether we want it or not. The LEDs in the mirror make me think there is a police car behind me.

Heads up display is a high priority.

We will have HUD. I think the only question is whether it is standard across the board on all C8’s, or like on C7, similarly standard only on 2LT & 3 LT versions.

I won't buy another Corvette without HUD so I will get whatever trim level has it. I guess I will get everything else since I usually get 3LT/3LZ when I buy.

If you don't want OnStar then all you have to do is decline the terms of service when you buy the car. You don't even get the trial period when you do this.
