I just re-watched Jay Leno's Garage review on the C8 HTC from fall 2019 (pre-COVID). Tadge J. was on hand to present the car to Jay and, in turn, the world.

After a couple years, the video ages pretty well - there is a lot of camaraderie between Tadge and Jay - they are both about the same age and are both serious car guys. Jay asked all the right questions and Tadge, as usual, answered perfectly. The discussion by both of them on what the car business was like and how the new Corvette fit into both the past and the future was great.

I am thinking that the Z06 will be introduced in LA because of the demographics of the market they are trying to hit, but also because Leno's Garage is so full of performance car history that it might be a great place to showcase the finest sports car America will ever produce. I may be wrong, but I can't think of anyone who would be a better host and who has such credibility with the car guys Chevy is trying to win over for the newest Z06.

On the beltway this morning a stain of brightly, colored, pearly GT3s weaved through traffic. Twenty [20] MPH above traffic speed. A caterpillar of Porsches. All heard the buzz of hornets. And looked to see what it was. Was a caterpillar of buzz.

      It reminded me. I want that C8 FPC, 5,5L V8, Z06.

So I say "Availability" ? Sooner than later. The-Sooner-the-better.

On October 26 those who think August 2022 will get a shocker delight. If they can do it in August/September and call it 2023. Then July, June, May, April, March, February are not a list of taboos.

If it would not be Available until Fall 2022, why promise to announce what everybody already assumes. Lots of reasons to do of course.

Well this may show me what my E-Ray will look like since the wide body is normally shared between the Z06 and Grand Sport.
