My devious mind wonders about "leaks" like this. This one said to be from Canada. My large Canadian Corvette dealer said "no way, no 2020 cars in system yet". Of course that could just be an "official" denial, but I have another thought.

The forums represent a large, interested and engaged focus group where the reaction to options and new colours can be easily seen. Suppose this is an early draft of the option list and the Corvette team would love to get reactions. How best to do that? An "accidental leak" maybe?

Seems that if the car was to begin production in the next nine months or so it would be pretty late to be making changes or decisions.

          Colours for instance?

          Option vs standard?

I’d bet decisions are already made but maybe the lead time isn’t as long as I think.

Unless it’s really ugly, overpriced or a poor performer I doubt it.

It will not be overpriced; it will look spectacular; and its performance will be excellent for an entry model, far better than the C7 entry version’s 0-60, 3.7 seconds.

Hopefully, the lessons were learned: Do not price it like an NSX and Do not let her be as heavy

Can’t say any more other than my jaw muscles are aching from grinning continuously. Have I seen the car myself? Regrettably not. Do I know its weight or its HP? No. However, should those concerned about price, re-read this linked thread? Yes.

In summary, birdies are chirping “very happy” about “future Corvette product.”

As are those friends of mine who are thrilled with their highly-discounted purchase of a fantastic 2019 C7!

in all respects, as Harlan said at Sebring, “2019 will be a very good year.”

They priced the NSX out of the market trying to be exclusive. I don't think Chevy is going to make the same mistake and they certainly don't want the reputation of it being exclusive. Won't sell a lot of them that way. Just ask Acura.
