With help from CorvetteBlogger, we have identified six different wheel choices for the 2020 C8 Stingray — that is if the alleged specs that Jalopnik posted a couple of days ago are actual.
Based on what was reported by Jalopnik day before yesterday, it is believed that the 2020 ME wheel choices are literally six in number. Does that lead to the thought that perhaps what was leaked in the wheel area is not a complete picture, especially as there are more than fifteen (15) C7, currently-available wheel options (counting colors and finished for all four models)? True, that a 2019 comparison is for four models, yet only two, the entry and the Z-51 models are so far expected for the 2020 C8 (albeit in a coupe and a HT spyder for each).
Might what Jalopnik leak be an accurate, but not a full picture of internal GM ordering wheel options? We do not yet know, for according to what we have seen in every one of the 250+ spy pictures, there are only these two, distinctly different wheel choices for the 2020 Corvette.
There is, first, the “split five spoke” wheel we have thus far only seen in either a black and/or maybe a dark, Spectra Gray metallic color that we have seen on some C7 wheels.

Yesterday’s maybe-GM-material calls them “5-Open Spoke” wheels, and labels their color as “carbon flash” (again on those we have seen and as pictured above).
Second, we have the wheel we have up to now called the “Mickey D” wheel:

The alleged GM leaked material calls them “5 Trident Spoke Wheels.”
Is that is a complete picture of all 2020 C8 available wheels? Might there not be also available dealer installed, LPO, other options, or even some yet hidden, factory-orderable additional wheels, or do we would only get to choose among these six total 2020 wheel options?

No surprise late-announced third wheel shown to us later? Maybe more color finishes on those two above basic wheels? A chrome option?
What do you think?
