  • Twelve (12) 2020 Stingray Colors?

If the Jalopnik article the other day was correct, the one in which they posted alleged C8 specs, the earlier rumor that we are going to get 12 colors for the C8, appears to be true.

What are you thoughts about the new Accelerate Yellow, Zeus Bronze and Rapid Blue?

Here’s what someone says is the same color as Zeus Bronze on a Cadillac.

    Horrible, that brown. Just. Horrible.

When, in the whole course of sports car history was there a brown high performance car?

    Has to be a joke.

    Shadow Grey Metallic on Black
    2LT, Z51 + MRC. GT1 seats.

Bikerjulio, one might therefore conclude that that will not be your chosen color. Ssssh, but not our choice either.

Only two color choices for me , I'll have to see them in person, then decide ...
        2022 LT2 Elkhart Lake Blue…. A thought if I might ..

Let me guess Ssscooter, either Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic or Rapid Blue. We know ELB looks fantastic. I have seen it on fellow member KenHorse’s 2019 GS and not only is the color gorgeous, but so is his paint.

Regretably we yet know absolutely zero about Rapid Blue, do not know if it is a medium or even a dark blue.

Not so fast...don't knock it until you've seen it. It may well blow your socks off! If the color looks rich and high in quality on the car, a "different" color than the usual choices would be refreshing and also stand out maybe more than you think (positively of course). I am considering that color right now but I won't be making my final decision until I actually see the color on the car.

OK I was just a little disappointed with the line-up. Basically very safe and conventional. I was hoping to see some more interesting colours. The bronze reminds me of something that last appeared on a '70's Olds station wagon. I look to Europe with McLaren, Porsche etc doing more adventurous colours.

Being closely tied to Cadillac, they have been using a bronze color on vehicles like the ATS-V and the CTS-V called either Bronze Sand or Dune Metallic. It actually looks more gold than brown. I guess this may satisfy those that like to wrap their Corvettes in gold metallic or just want a unique color that won't probably be a big seller.
