Good news for C8.R Special Editions that as noted before that there are no constraints for this ordering, so GM could be wanting to do exactly what it did the first C7 year when they put out the 500 Premiere Edition coupes and the 500 Premiere Edition convertibles right away. Coincidence that they have the same number of special edition C8.R’s as they earlier did with the C7 Premiere SE’s?

Has anyone heard from any of the "top three?". They are usually pretty good about letting people know what is going on...

Which are the "some top dealers"?

Start of 22 production "expected" to be the week of September 27th? 😥
2021 HTC on order with 2LT, front lift, msrc, npp, elb with two tone seats, and gray hash marks. September first delivery??
Now 22. Thinking adding cf interior and deleting hash marks.
            Delivery? Who knows. ☹☹

They have that incorrect. Per GM, the allocations given this week are for production period THROUGH the week of Sep 27th.

The top dealers I referred to above we Ciocca, MacMulkin and Criswell. All got less than they expected. Sorry about that, but as we have over and over learned with GM, that sometimes the order in which an allocation is granted and received is different from the order in which vehicles are produced.

                  I hope you are correct!
Figured corvette action center would be accurate.

So how bad is it for the top 3? I and many others were hoping to see at least normal allocations going forward, this whole process is not what was expected!
                      Thanks

I'm about to edit and upload my newest video to YouTube shortly regarding this.... Take today's numbers with a grain of salt. It was an abnormal consensus cycle for GM to issue Corvette allocations this late in the month. That means they planned on a smaller number I'm sure and my numbers were a fluke based on ADS and prior sales. The bigger dealers have a lot of 2021's remaining to be built, and those all factor into the ADS system.

Let's wait on hitting any panic button until we see August, or even September numbers. Today's are not an indication of the future, mine were just slightly better than I expected for a late month but I'm a small dealer with only a handful of 2021's remaining to be built so my ADS is low.

I don't understand how cars that haven't even been built would affect the new ADS system?

GM factors in any vehicle ordered and accepted at status 3000 as a vehicle that will be in your inventory. They figures those soon to be built, and in-transit vehicles as part of your supply. They are in fact vehicles you will have to sell within their next three months of estimated sales.

So putting these two things together that they got more than they expected and that GM expects to complete them by October 1st (the Sept 27th production week’s end), that means to me that GM is very confident that they are going to first complete all their 2021’s at they indicated (with our nationally not seeing a single TPW later than September 6th at this time), and could it also mean that they might be starting 2022’s that same Sept 6th production week. Looking really good!
Might the first few dozen pre-production Z06's in preparation for the reveal be made between September, 6th and the start of 2022 Stingray's or are those considered the betas - which already rolled off the line? Could be way off base but just curious about timing with the "Fall" reveal and all.
