Not saying it's the only / optimized way, but every NA Ferrari V8 I've seen has long straight individual intake runners.

Now I'm thinking as much as I want a HTC Z06 it might come with more compromises than I'm willing to make. If the coupe gets more power and other performance options the HTC doesn't get, I might just go with the coupe and be able to see that amazing engine too 😎.

I'd probably be able to add the Z07 package for around the same as what the HTC option would cost. My other concern is if the Z07 (or other versions) have the center mounted exhaust, I like that look much better, but will it come at a cost of losing half the trunk depth? I expect they'll make sure that at least the roof will still fit in the trunk. But you might not get as much room for luggage/golf clubs as the side mounted exhaust option.

I really like the look of the HTC with the top down and the fact that you get to keep all your trunk space too. The only downside was not seeing the engine, which was fine enough of a trade off, but performance options are much higher on my list than all that stuff. It will be interesting to see what options do/don't carry over to the HTC Z06
Put deposit down for 2020 C8 in July 2019, gave up my allocation to wait for the Z06, plan on getting Hypersonic Gray HTC

Thanks for the reminder that with the top and rear center window down the HTC’s exhaust sounds louder.

It's also possible they do something in a cross ram configuration with a lower height similar to Carbon XR intake. This is about an inch shorter then their LT2 intake, but still taller than the current LT2 intake..

Ragtop 99 that looks like fun. As long each bank has at least it's own throttle body / plenum (I'm still hoping for ITBs!) I'll be happy. Another oddity of the Voodoo, as to why Ford went with a single TB / plenum setup vice the dual setup. With the FPC, each bank can be thought as it's own I4. Having the a separate intake path for each can optimize airflow.

P-Tree ITB's could help squeeze the max amount of performance from the motor. Space limitations may dictate whether there are 1, 2, or 8 TBs.
