Corvette Welcome Package

Spoke to the Corvette concierge recently to inquire on the "Welcome" package. I was told the the kits for customers who bought Corvettes in Rapid Blue or Elkhart Lake Blue were on backorder but was assured that I would receive the package as soon as they became available. I took possession of my 2021 Rapid Blue C8 on 12/24/2020... just a few days short of it becoming 6 months ago! I was told that normally the pkg arrives 45 to 60 days after the purchase.

Anyone else with the same color cars having the same issue?

I suspect these models are made in Asia, and are caught up in the worldwide shipping issues.

ELB HTC built 12/21/20, in service date of 1/4/21. No model yet.

Yep.....I also have Rapid Blue...took delivery on 8/26/20 and still getting the run-around. No communication....no "welcome package."

They are coming. We just do not know when. But we have Harlan’s word, in fact also in writing, that every 2020 and 2021 sold within the U.S. will get one. His word is more than good enough to me.

Paid for my 2020 ELB 12/31/2020.

Took possession on 01/09/2021.

I received a letter a couple months or so ago to watch out for it, but so far nothing.

I have not received my welcome kit. I have a 2020 Arctic White Stingray and I took delivery November 2020. Just called the Concierge and they are following up on getting one sent. I really want my kit in case this car ends up being a collectable - Yes I am a obsessed Corvette fan! LOL We fussed about the car taking so long and now we want our toy that we can look at without having to walk to the garage! We are kids aren't we! Now let's never grow up!

Got my rapid blue htc in november. Got the letter saying welcom kit is coming, still waiting. I want to schedual ron fellows driving school!

You don't need the welcome kit to schedule with Ron Fellows, I believe all you need is your VIN number. I wouldn't wait to receive that welcome kit.

That is correct. Just have your VIN handy and give them a call to schedule your class. There was a C8 Owner’s School brochure/flier in the packet with my owner’s manual too.

Took museum delivery of my 2020 ELB coupe on 12/1/2020 and received my welcome kit/speed shape in late February.
