Thank You the question was answered. It is a New separate order for a 2022 and you are not guaranteed anything. Folks just need to understand how the formal process actually works not how they want it to work. Just know this when you are working with your individual Dealer. Knowledge is power.

Ah, the key…. The last sentence. No games played by MECF dealerships. Never above MSRP either.

        Nope.
Decent increase in over all price?
        You bet!
Now I'm hearing production of 22's won't start until 10-4-21. Just great.
Enjoy at least some fall driving as expected?
        Again, nope.
Very early 22 allocation looking like Thanksgiving to Christmas delivery.
Just perfect for Mass. timing. 😖
Pay through the nose and put it away for winter.
Where in the world did you hear that 2022 production wont start till October? I would only take what you hear here on this forum as the gospel

This is kind of unsubstantiated rumors that just causes stress — and needlessly so.

Fact: GM has stated in writing that they will complete every status 3000, 2021 and that they will do it by the end of the 3rd quarter — which ends September 22nd.We are not see TPW going beyond that in fact on Murrary 20c8’s list the last bit of production remains September 10th. I have checked MacMulkin written comments and posts and they did not allude to TPW’s into early October.

Fact: Price protection were granted by 100% of MECF dealerships. No one who was on the approved list prior to it being announced in early March is paying a penny of that increase.

2022 Pricing fact: More inaccuracies in this post, specifically the comment about “defend increase in over all price.”

FACT: The $1,200 officially announced price increase for 2022 today is less than the rate of inflation and is being welcomed by MECF members in posts. Many were expecting $2,500 or we even had a post saying that one person was expecting a $5,000, 2022 model year price increase.

FACT about 2022 production initiation. Another wrong statement that production of 2022’s will not start until October 4th. FACT: It will start before the third week of September is over.

Do not post single source rumors without being at least able to name the source. Do not non substantive rumors coming from FB and other forums. We had enough fear mongering by single source individuals.

Have we not just been down a rathole started by a certain YouTuber who stated with a verbal comment on his video, then backed it up in writing with his on screen document that BGA would not be re-opening until mid or late June. By doing proper research that inaccurate rumor was shown to be ****.

Let us ask questions if we are not certain about negative information, not posting negatived rumors based on wild speculation by others or ourselves.
