John, do you think its also interesting that it list both stingray AND Z06. Wouldn't you think it would list just stingray assuming that's the only thing available for the 2020 year?

I do find that interesting. I do not know what is means or doesn’t, e.g.,not concluding anything about the Z06’s future based on it. Even as to the 2020 Corvette, so many unknowns.

My personal interpretation of "vet/Z06" is that, C7 is still offered as MY 2020.
So, does that mean the C8 is considered as MY2021?

Or that the name in that table is just a placeholder, so as not to give anything away.

I was thinking that as well, but why put just stingray/Z06 and not include GS/ZR1 or convert? Or simply corvette/convertible to cover all spectrums? I mean I have no clue what it does or doesn’t mean

Give GM the freedom to announce later whatever they would want, without then being accused of being misleading.

I'm getting impatient ants in my pants. Maybe I will order a 2020 Sonic or Spark instead.

                  1. Does not mention Cadillac cars except "Lux 2 and 3 A2SL and A2LL" [??]. all are listed as "TBD"
                  2. Chevy makes several versions of Camaro , but the Document merely states "Camaro Coup/Convertible"
                  3. Corvette Stingray/Z06 are listed as "TBD"

                  A. Does the list contain the full complement of "passenger cars" that it is known that GM will manufacturer in 2020?

                  B. What Does "TBD" mean? : (a) necessarily will be assigned dates? (b) May or may not be assigned dates? (c) may or may not be produced? (d) To be determined whether/what the fate will be, live or die? (e) Subject to elimination? (f) questionable status ??????

                  C. Does the Document list reasonably appear to be tendered as complete??

                  D. Is the Document authentic. Is this thin looking piece an authentic scheduling plan that a major manufacturer would rely upon???

                  E. Are there SUVs on the list? Is it complete as to SUVs. Is the Document consistent with what it purports to be?

                  F. Does the Document make any commitment as to what form of Corvettes will be produced, when, where, how many?

Good question on what "TBD" means. It means "To Be Determined"/ But what is it that is being determined? A date of when it will be released? oO whether there will be a model at all for that model year?

Guys...you are amazing for figuring all this out.

                      im tapping out on supposition.

i just have no idea what or when or why...

thank you for all your examinations to whats going on.

ill just guess by september we will see the cars in the showrooms..

if not we should at least have offical photos and detail specs.

                      should be exciting.

i think moving 9000 units will take five or six months...plus whatever bowling green contiues to build every day...

i guess the real question to ask is when will gm stop taking c7 orders for good...then add five months to that date for the full release..

Here is the similar internal GM document for the SUV’s and the PU’s — also with thanks and credit to Houston ZZ3.

As to what does TBD mean, GM uses it for three words, “to be determined.” They are never more specific than that.

Assuming this is all legit docs. Maybe it says stingray/Z06 as both will be available for the C8. The stingray makes an appearance sooner (spring/summer) and deliveries start end of ‘19 as 2020 models. While the Z06 debuts in Dec (LA) and has a short 2020 model run. My theory and I’m sticking with it!! Haha

i think the reference to stingray/z06 was for the FE C7. otherwise, why the Z06 reference when we already know the first C8 is NA, followed by a charged version in another year. actually, GM has not officially announced a C8 and if any versions will be named Stingray, let alone Z06.

I'm pretty sure that, in the context of the tabulated data, TBD stands for To Be Deleted.

So, I guess we'll be driving our trusty C7s for quite a few more years...
