Thanks to Chazcron, we have this latest rendering. He is asking for your help to next do one with the top down, as per...

I think it would be nice if the door windows were one piece with no lit tle window in t he rear quarter which would mean the doors would have t o be about 8 inches wider to facilitate that seamless side window look..but I also know there would be engineering problems with that unless they were scissor doors..love t he work so far t ough!! Rear vision from t he inside of anything but a roadster is horrible thou gh and t hat should be addressed somehow in the end product even if it is a digital mirror t hat shows a better view from the front seat rear view...
Wow, that looks great, and is that a glass panel over the engine that I see?
I think I can sum-up the rendering in two words - Chazcron Rocks!™

I suspect those little quarter windows won't exist on the HT 'vert at all. The side glass will only be in the door.
The C8 does, from all appearances, have a digital rear view camera similar to what some Cadillac models have today. My only question is how bad rear visibility is with the top down, when the rear view camera seems to go away, but you've still got those large buttresses blocking your rear 3/4 views.
I also don't expect a glass panel in the rear deck of the HT 'vert.

I really like how the lines flow into and from the buttresses, nice work Chaz! If that glass is an option, I see my options bill adding up quickly with this car $$$
I had asked Chazcron about the below curvature of the HT rear of motor engine ducting, wondering if was less curved than show in his earlier rendering today.
His response:

Elegant,
We've mostly seen the louvers low from the back, and it looks pretty straight, maybe a little curved at the edges. But from the side, there is definitely a curve to them. Here is a back shot showing they are mostly straight.
I appreciate all the work that goes into these renders. I too don't think there will be engine visibility on the convertible. I also think (hope) that the rear window will be vertical and retractable. There's a couple of shots below that show a little more detail of the louvers and the sculpting of the rear deck. That being said, these renders look pretty close.
Ditto! Thanks Bikerjulio. You sure have a better picture location system than I do. Much appreciate your often being the one to get us back up to speed, help us better understand with your picture posts.

I've had another thought and it relates to the buttress seam as it meets the roof. With the top retracted, the front top of the buttress will need to be "straight", no? Having a hard time describing. But the render has the seam angled.
