Conceptualize A ME

I was recently asked by a friend who is mildly interested in Corvettes, had heard about the upcoming ME, “how can I best visualize how an ME works”

Thanks to Yahoo News, I was able to send him this picture. Might be a good one to share with your SO’s who similarly have little idea of where/how the motor fits into a ME.

I don't see a driveshaft connecting with the front wheels. Oh maybe they are electric! I hope there is at least an AWD option.

As per this CAD drawing, there is a center tunnel (the upside down blue, “U-shaped cap, over a pretty tall light blue-grey tunnel). Whether that is only for cooling, hydraulic, and electrical lines, just for stiffening the chassis, or other is of course not known.

However, most are thinking that IF there is AWD on the rumored 1,000 HP version, that all wheel drive capability will be coming from, as you suggested, electric motors — maybe actually being located inside the front wheels?
