Thanks for joining us CarGuy11! I really like the video, both the upclose on the Blackwing motor, and then starting at 1:40 the greater shots of the Tremec 7 speed DCT. I agree with your thinking that that will be the trans for the me. Thank you.

Well, a number of GM people have made public references to the "C8," and it's pretty obvious that the only Corvette undergoing testing for production is the ME, so.....

There's so much road construction going on here I couldn't get it in anyway so I'm patient. Figure about a year from now I might have it or be close to buying it.

That’s what we’re lead to believe, but We don’t actually know that. For all we know they could be using a C7 body for testing of the next FE C8.

The ME is the C8 and the C8 is the ME. Beyond that we do not know. If you are asking separately whether the FE C7 will continue once the first customer corvettes start done the production line, I believe not. Some disagree — and thus we do not definitively know either way at this time.
