Official GM internal document information has just arrived at MECF, and that is while GM has just announced the ending build out dates for all their vehicles, the final build out date for the 2021 Corvette is not included in this GM document — instead for the Corvette shown as TBD.
The GM document is entitled, “2021 Model Year Vehicle Build Out.”
What is included is that the last DOSP (Dealer Order Submittal Process) is June 17th.
What is also new in the document is that it shows a June allocation cycle, but with it stating that June 17th is the last of the last six day ordering process, we expect only one month (June) allocations to be announced then (that is in addition to the Feb, March, and April allocations shared two weeks ago). [Note, these months are updated/correct thanks to eye-eye jeff58’s post below.
This jibes with earlier info that the ending ordering for Shadow Gray (the last cut off of the three ending 2021 colors) is 5/27.
However what this document shows is two things, first is that GM is still giving itself leeway to keep building the remaining nine colors and even Zeus Bronze, Sebring Orange and Shadow Gray beyond that June 17th cut off ordering cycle, but that no new 2021’s of any color can be ordered after 6/17. Many believed that the nine* 2021 to 2022 carryover colors could be ordered after 6/17, but no we know that is not true — that that is the official hard ending-ordering-date.
Here is our earlier info on the phase out ordering dates for ZB, SO and SG: https://www.midenginecorvetteforum.c...eus-and-shadow
Here are the nine 2021 colors that will carry over to 2022’s:
*Black
*Arctic White
*Elkhart Lake Blue;
*Rapid Blue
*Accelerate Yellow
*Torch Red
*Red Mist
*Silver Flare
*Ceramic Matrix Gray
