  • Where to find part numbers?

Anyone know a comprehensive place I can look up C8 part numbers?

Specifically I'm looking to buy a part - the front splitter vanes indicated by the arrow below - in body color, but I'm having a hard time finding the part numbers for that piece.
    My Google-fu has failed me.

When I get stuck and Google ends up empty, I call my local Chevy dealer's parts department and they're usually really good about giving me the part numbers.

Go to forum vendor Suburban Chevrolet's Trunk Monkey parts division:

      https://www.trunkmonkeyparts.com/v-2...y--6-2l-v8-gas

You can find parts by category, and they almost always provide the GM part # once you navigate to the part you want. It can take a while to navigate through all the possible categories to find what you want, as GM doesn't always organize things the way I would.

The parts you're looking for are here: https://www.trunkmonkeyparts.com/v-2...and-components

But you can't order them in body color. They come in Carbon Fiber, Carbon Flash, Shadow Gray, or "paint to match."

BUT, forum vendor 404parts sells them painted in body color.

So does forum vendor American Hydrocarbon:

Not cheap, but there's a big difference between the two. Might be worth asking a good body shop what they'd charge to match your paint.

They do come off easy enough - why not just have them painted?

I've considered getting mine painted, or buying painted ones for my car, too, so I was already primed.

Meyerweb, Thanks for the link to the Trunk Monkey. Didn't know they existed. Parts manual will come in handy down the road.
