ID:	21943 Based on the paint shop image of the rear fender (GRAY) to the right of the rear fascia (RED)

This is the way the fender sits. Even tho there is no "scoop" detail visible, we can see a bit of confirmation of the upper fender crease and down angle as I suspected.

The actual scoop "box" surround will be different than what we are seeing in the camo images and seems to suggest a more refined and sculpted transition. I am working on a new render that could be closer. I Think both Chaz and BDS have many elements of the correct look and thank them for all their effort. !

Also note the yellow holes behind the scoop. (In the CAD and my overlay) They are at the same height and straight to the wheel well as the paint shop fender ends suggesting a separate bottom section to the fender. Maybe with additional brake cooling intakes for the z06/ZR1 models?

BDS agreed with my assessment of the outer shape (for now ; ) ) and included it in his model.

That is great work fvs, presented nicely so all can see how the leaked CAD and the spy pic car and your rendering line up so well. Thank you very much for the way you shared/melded all those matching component parts.
So many questions about the ME right now; so few answers yet.

I'm still trying to figure out the top of the intake scoop where it is on the top of the door where it meets the rear quarter panel. When the door is open I just can't visualize how that part of the intake scoop is supported or will look. It seems like it will be "fragile" or be "flapping in the wind". I'm usually pretty good at visualizing this kind of stuff, I just can't see it in my mind's eye.

Really no different than other cars with similar features.

Just like the Ferrari LaFerrari, and GM won’t be charging over $1M for having that same feature...

Slick ...i also like the c8 nose without the chrome or light bars on the front bumper...ive seen in a few sketches..

no chrome and no light bars needed at the front edge of the soft bumper....defeats the purpose.

Good rendition but hopefully they did not use a plastic component underneath the camo to hide the true shape of the scoop.

Also wondering how that will be protected from rock chips. Those wide front tires may throw up a lot of road debris and the first thing they hit will be the air scoop.
