Call for RAMPANT SPECULATION Re: WHEELS

I am on the fence about buying a set of 18" forged wheels now which clear the carbon discs on my C7Z to run scrub slicks - mostly because I will get a C8 hipo when available and don't want to fuss with more selling and then buying for the new car. I already have a second set of OEMs to run cup2s at track.

If I thought they would work on the C8 I would buy them in a heartbeat, but it is hard for me to imagine that the same wheels will work(width and offset) with the entirely new platform, but maybe someone here with more experience than me with historic vette platform changes can offer input?

We know the wheel and tire primary sizes, but unfortunately not the offsets nor actual wheel widths. We also know the entry C8 will have PS4’s as its tires. Best of luck however you decide to go.
