Below is a a linked podcast, in which we have about 1 hour 30 minute interview that IMSA Racing conducted with Doug Fehan, C7.R Race Team Manager. In it Doug talked about the history and many developments of the C5.R though the C7.R Corvette race team program, and very fractionally shared what is next.

We learned one sentence from Doug, that the C8.R is under development, and will at some point be racing at the 24 Hours of LeMans. We had heard something similar at last April’s BASH when Harlan said after Doug mentioned the C8.R being worked on by the # 3 and #4 crew chiefs as the reason they were not at the “20 Years of Corvette Racing Dinner,” Harlan responded, “Doug is right, that after we finish racing the C7.R, we will be racing the C8.R.”
Doug shared in the podcast, the comment, that “the C8 will be the most spectacular Corvette ever built, beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.”
