Do units that have to get put in the "fix" area @ the end of the line count since they've technically come off the line ? No, I don't think 70 cars were in that group, but was curious about that.

Don't think it's time to panic yet. If that was the case, they would be pulling a shift out 1st I would bet.

Hopefully for those waiting it is something simple like right hand drive production. The rate dropped quite a bit a couple weeks ago when they announced they started producing RHD cars if I recall correctly.

Rumor on the boards is that the plant will be closing Friday for multiple weeks.
unverified information, but with Ford shutting down its Kentucky plant this week I would not be surprised.

I checked out other places and not seeing much other than one post which said that Ford is closing one plant in Kentucky next week. Would you please provide us any support other than the one comment by one person? Thank you.

A vehicle is counted once it comes off the line, whether it goes to the adjoining, roughly 25 vehicle max short term repair, “triage” area or then needs to be taken to other “longer time to repair” locations.

I have a couple feelers out from people I know that are with suppliers and such. They haven't heard anything either so far other the KY plant that closed a while back.

My car is scheduled for production on Monday, I hope they don't shut down the plant on Friday.... Went from 2000 to 3400 in a month, can't complain too much.

the birdies I know commented that they've got no news that the plant IS closing at any point that isn't planned, so you SHOULD be good.

Hi. This is my first post ever. My car was born last week, but am hearing there is some sort of a quality hold. Has anyone heard any birdies regarding when I could expect it to be loaded on a truck?

A QC hold can be 2 days or two weeks depending on the reason from what I hear.
