Is it possible that yours is, like our C8, one of the 38 C8’s subjected to some future but already announced recall re the faulty brake module (no fix announced yet or at least no parts to fix it), and this is what it was referring to?

This is just my thinking out loud for I do not know have any other possible explanation, and for sure I might be totally wrong on this supposition.

John, Mine is in the recall for the brake sensor and I was able to perform the recent OTA last week with no issues. Still waiting for parts.

Interestingly, I tried to update my friends car who is not in the brake recall, and got the same message the OP received.

Thanks for eliminating the brake sensor as the probable cause for this notice on kuzmast55’s IP screen. I find it curious that parts for the brake module fix, which seem but not confirmed only effect 38 of us, are not yet available. Perhaps (and hopefully) as soon as they finish the last of the 2020’s in a few weeks???

Well, it is a safety issue and confined to a limited number of cars. You would think it would be a priority. Looks like they are just trying to get all the 2020's built first. I'm just going to keep driving.

            Thank you

I checked the recall site and nothing? I do have issues with my air bag sensors that continue to give me another warning...

There is really an issue with the software to begin with IMHO.
I had the DCT update begin and when I came back it said it had failed.
It has never come back again and I can't do it manually either.
I have no problems with the DCT at all so I'm not sweating it but it certainly should either come back or say it was installed or that I should take it to the dealer. One of those three things.

I denied the update as mine runs excellent and shifts perfect throughout the different drive modes.

So a little over a week saying it never came back .... the update message came back. While I'm in the garage where NO cell signal would work so of course it failed!
So I back out of the garage and try a manual update again and of course we get that stupid message "No updates available" or Can't connect or whatever'. Whoever wrote this software will never graduate from Grade 1!
