Looking good, sure wish gm would just follow porsches lead and release the information and photos of its new sports car,

doesnt seem to hurt their business...

we can all place our orders and deliveries would occur at about the same time.

gm would know exactly what parts to order for the first year or so,,,,probably increases profitability oer sale.

just saying.....it might be a good business model to follow and we dont even have to ship the cars in from europe..

I will say this about the wing. When I get mine and I am sure it will have the biggest one they have it will come off because of the nature of the HP version. They are just ugly to me. If it leaves holes and if it has one the size of the current ZR1 with no way to remove it then I will pass on the car.

        Says it's a convertible. It's clearly a coupe.

See the rearview camera location as well as the roof lines for the targa top.

You are our coupe versus convertible expert. Many should consult with you before they “venture public” with their pronouncements.

Talking with Phil Minch (Assistant Chief Corvette Engineer), 1-to-1 at the BASH, he said that as the machine GM uses to punch the holes in the top of the rear fascia goes $1M+|, they have the holes factory stamped in the identical locations, identically sized, regardless of which wing/version on gets. Hence, since I think GM might wish to avoid a second $1M+, they could well continue that practice for the C8, ergo, wing changing should not leave any holes in the wrong location, e.g., you could get the below mini-wing on your 1,000 HP version.

I noticed that too, the split towards the B pillar would be a couple inches forward on the convertible. I do like the super fake T tops though, it's a nice touch. Also if the white and black camo under the black mesh is where the engine bay ends, then there is alot of room between the engine and the seats. I'd say plenty for 2 golf bags. Also if the rear window goes from there to the roof I think that will look much better then having the big black piece between the c pillars. Which i think is what they will be doing on the convertible at least. The convertable top would fit in the gap between the seats and the engine too, when down.

Thanks. However that video was found and posted here yesterday in this thread by “makav,” post # 85. In fact, CorvetteBlogger saw it here and then used it on its site.

So rather than our having two threads with the same video and now starting to get the identical pictures, I am going to close this one. the linked one has many screen prints on it starting on its page 6.

                  Thank you.
