Here is the ONLY place I believe what's being said. Is the ME been delayed??? You Tube has these posters and "famous" salesman. They say they are going to talk about what they "know" then they spend 10 minutes talking about themselves and thanking everybody and never say anything. I just dump'em. So does anybody have any real idea? At 70 I would like to get this thing before something STRIKES me and I'm not able to make this move. Of course if I'm dead it won't really matter but they'll say "poor guy he really wanted a ME CORVETTE"...TIME MARCHES ON...…..

Many rumors and zero facts. As first noted by two people smarter than me, how can something be delayed when no dates were ever announced,, nor even has other than seven famous words by GM VP Mark Reuss, made last April, do we even know that there will ever be a C8.
It has been over 50 years since we first heard of the coming of the mid engine Corvette, so we can wait until GM officially gives us a reveal date and location. In the interim, we are all sure we will hear tons and tons more rumors, with so many competing dates, from lots of different sources, be they YouTube videos, Corvette forums, and also big automedia.Originally posted by MarkReuss

I don’t know if “delayed” is the correct word ,but it seems that something has changed. The reason I say this is they originally said that plant tours would resume January 2019. Presumably because they didn’t want people poking around there until the ME was introduced. So logically one would assume it would be revealed in (or before) January 2019,the most likely choice being Detroit Auto Show.
Now they are saying that it hasn’t been determined when plant tours will resume. They could have changed that wording not because they changed it from January but rather want to try to keep people guessing. OR more likely to me ,in light of rumors of New York and no word or teasers or anything from GM yet, that the reveal HAS been “delayed”Comment

Plant not reopening is a key indication. Hello! Anyone expecting this car to be turned over to customers in 2019 is dreaming. It’s not happening.Comment

Nobody knows anything and since no date was ever announced....it cant be delayed from the unknown date...
lets just hope january 14 th and if nit then maybe easter good friday (April 19th) as thats the first day of the Ny auto show...

Repeating what is in the second post, that when no dates have been announced by GM, nothing can be delayed. We have no knowledge that GM’s plan from day 1 was to not have the reveal until way later than any of us wished. Thread closed for now.
