    • So, the 173 is the number of cars produced on the 15th, but there are still some cars that would have been produced after midnight which will be added to that total for the two shifts?

If they are reporting midnight to midnight then the Tuesday number gets to count the cars from late Monday second shift but loses the cars late second shift Tuesday. The net effect I believe is a wash. Monday gets Friday after midnight, Tuesday gets Monday after midnight, etc...

This is really great to see. Notwithstanding all the assurances, I was a doubter and thought many 3000 level buyers would not get their 2020, but these numbers prove me wrong. Very happy to see that BGAP workers are rocking it. I also have to remind myself that a big portion of our economy is still WFH so the fact that these men and women are going in every day and doing what they do with such high quality - really admire them.

            • I too have been doubtful but get more convinced every day. With about 9719 status 3000 C8's left they will complete the 1st week of Dec at 175/day. Now have weeks of Dec7/Dec14 and a few Saturdays as a margin for error. If the parts supply holds up etc all will be good!!

You can contact your dealer and ask them what time your order went to 3800 and that is when your car was born.

Likely finished between 8 and 9. At approximately 10 cars per hour and a start time of 6:15 starting with vin 10,463 they would have built 10,483 by 8:15.

                    • How quickly after a car comes off the manufacturing line does the status code get updated to 3800 (thought I had seen somewhere else that the status codes only get updated once a day end of day)? Based on the above, I’m guessing my car (10555) comes off the line around 3:30.
