  • He swears he cannot get a partial VIN. I even e-mailed him that he could if he looked down and way right in Workbench. This is the second and last 2020 they will deliver so I don't think they have a clue or really care that much. It would be fun to try to figure out what day it would be built. 19269 would be great but the sooner the better. My order # is XQTTG2 if anyone has a different avenue to getting the partial VIN.

      • One of the forum dealers helped me get it. I would mention who but not sure if he is supposed to or not. He gave me my full VIN. Last 5 are 17744

            With 2 days off next week I'd be surprised if it's built before the 30th. That's when I'd guess it will come off the assy line

                That was really nice of that dealer. I'd like to thank that dealer for his/her kindness.
                2021 Elkhart Lake Blue coupe, 2LT, Front lift, Chrome Ext. Badge package, mag ride, performance exhaust. Feb 2020 refundable deposit to get on dealer allocation list, Aug 2020 signed a PO with dealer and paid non-refundable deposit.

                                I talked to a fellow Canuck who worked the line for over 30 years (not BG). He told me that in his opinion once they started building the verts the line ran at the same speed regardless of how many verts there were. If it was a coupe it would get no vert stuff done at a vert station just like a 1LT would not get stuff done at a 3LT station. So, to me , It's unclear what effect the verts have on the line.
