Today’s “Corvette Today” Podcast

Steve Garrett talks with Adam Boca, the National Corvette Museum supervisor for insurance.  Adam explains the advantages of insuring your exotic or Corvette through the NCM...which includes setting a predetermined value for your car, in case of a disaster.  All this for about the same cost as a "big box" insurance company. OK, you bought your Corvette dream car-now you have to insure it. But don't go to a traditional "big box" insurance company.  Insure your Corvette (or exotic car) through the National Corvette Museum

At the top of this page is https://my.chevrolet.com/content/dam...CCUSRHpUv0Rawg

Not sure when it came out but it was well before I got my car in March - so it's been around 3 months or so.

The owner's manual was released in February and has been downloadable since then.

I knew there was a link to the manual here on the forum and downloaded a pdf version when it first became available. But I do see what HuntNut is saying, if you go to the Chevrolet web site, “Owner’s Resources”, they have drop down menus to select year and model for owner’s manuals, if you select “2020” as the year, there is no “Corvette” in the model drop down. Very strange since it’s been available for quite awhile.

To all. Sorry for the misleading information. My second post does not show up from last night. This is NOT a dealer brochure but one that I put together from the Corvette link. I just wanted to show what it would look like if it was available. Again sorry.

The manual is not available at Chevrolet’s website. Just because someone got a hold of a copy and uploaded it to a forum does not mean it’s available. Chevrolet should make it available on their website like every other car from every other manufacturer. Just another example of a poorly run company.

Is this not a GM web site?

Yes, that is the owners section. We obviously know that owners get a manual when they purchase a car. That is not what we are talking about. Why haven’t they made that available in their website for all to look at?

Ok, fine. I found a link to it on chevrolet.com. Will that make you happy or are they still a poorly run company?

                    https://www.chevrolet.com/performanc...tte-experience

Scroll to the bottom and there is a button that takes you to the my.chevrolet.com owner's manual page.

Don't know why the Canadian site doesn't have it yet. Can't be much if any differences.

These are the manuals and not the sales brochure, but it's interesting that the U.S. version is longer 337 pages where as the Canadian one is only 324 pages long. You' think with all the extra U's in Canadian words (coloUr) it would be longer !

George, why are you making things up? I stated that GM is a poorly run Company and I stand by that statement. It is my opinion which I have a right to. I never said I do not have respect “for anything GM does”. In fact, you can check other posts where I have praised the design of the C8. Just because GM is poorly run doesn’t mean they do not have quality people doing great things. I can still like the car and purchase the car while disliking the performance of the CEO. I don’t need everything to be perfect and I don’t need to live in a fantasy world - I tell it like I see it.
