  • Exciting New ME “bdsvavars” Renders

Always nice to see some evolution and change. Here are some exciting renderings from bdsvavars (who created the above featured 17 second 360 degree video).

As he noted in putting these out today, “Here are a couple of new renders. i have added a bit more detail to the rear end and i am trying out a new shape for the side scoop nothing too fancifull just some thing that could easily be hiding under a sheet of plastic.[/Quote]

Looks quite angular and cool. Should be fun to see what the final prodict ends up like.

      both efforts shown are awesome.

These two renderings are really exciting. I would be thrilled to have them become my 2020 Corvette.
Enjoying my Shadow gray C8. What a car it is.

makav, I sure understand and agree with you, for this is the first time I can say I am excited about the rear of the car. While I knew GM would pull it off when revealed, up until now, it has been my biggest concern — especially because of the rear spoiler. But without the spoiler, the rear of the car’s potential beauty can be now seen.

Wow, great renders. I think I may have to join the Corvette Mid Engine 12 step program if this car looks like this and we can’t yet buy it. I need to find help.

Agree with John about lack of excitement over the rear renders that we've seen so far...they, to my eye, just haven't fit with the rest of the design. I still don't care for the pointed wrap around at the corners of the lights. However, this render shows there is the possibility that the final unveiling will be nice looking. Sure hope so.
'64 Silver Grey Coupe (custom paint)- still our favorite
                      '13 White/Blue Diamond 427 60th roadster - favorite late model
                      Several others including two C7's

'20... Zeus Bronze Coupe, 2LT, GT2 seats, Natural two tone, Body color accents, Pewter wheels- 10/1/20😀 GAME CHANGER

The positive aspect to those wrap-around lights is that we'll no longer have the ugly separate reflector/light assembly wrapping around the back fo the wheel well, since they'll be built into the tail light assembly.

I second that, for the side “wheel wheel surround reflector lights” were/are not attractive. Even spending $300 plus for some aftermarket treatment, IMO, while making them much better looking, still does not elevate them to beautiful.

As many of our future ME competitors have learned, cleaning up the sides of the car, is a nice way to enhance their upscale looks. Jewelry belongs, to my mind, in the front, and maybe even on the back of the car, not on its sides.
