Yes? Or No? Might this be possible, and???
Do you think that due to all that have been revealed by GM in the last six weeks, e.g., the C8.R and the C8 ME customer car at the ‘Ring (where all manufacturers know there is always a group of professional media waters/reporters waiting/photo snapping/videoing), that the reveal would still be at NAIAS in mid-January — or might it be moved up to the LA Auto Show (starts on November 26th for press reveal days)?
We have a still-open poll in which we collectively voted, by believe by better than a 2 1/2 to 1 to margin, that the 2020 Corvette ME’s reveal would be at the Detroit/NAIAS auto show. However, while I voted for January in Detroit as its probable location the first day the poll opened, (August 4th), the frequency at which GM has been since publicly showing ME recently has been amazing. Our poll on when the reveal will be had/has these results — from its beginning to right now.

Let’s look back in timing of the pre-C7 reveal process and see if that helps us figure out the reveal probable time.
On October 12, 2012, GM started its formal pre-C7 reveal tease process by announcing at the Corvette Coral at the Road America/Petit LeMans Race, that the reveal of the C7 would be on 1.13.13 at the Detroit Auto Show, and that day they also showed us the “next generation Corvette’s emblem.” (Source= CorvetteBlogger). Between October 12, 2012 and the C7’s reveal, was 93 days.
Between today and the start of vehicle reveals at the Automobility LA Show. (November 26th) is 68 days.
Between today and the start of the vehicle reveals at the NAIAS show (January 14th) is 117 days.
If you might be thinking the Los Angeles show, we learned from jagamajajaran that there is a Mid-America Corvette Funfest seminar tomorrow entitled:
Seminar: The 2020 Mid-Engine "Zora" Corvette
Dave McLellan and Friends
Might it be possible that at that seminar, one of Dave’s friends, for don’t Corvette Chief Engineers hang together, is Tadge Juechter, and could not Dave introduce Tadge at some point in the seminar, and Tadge get up and announce...
At the LA Auto Show on xxxx, we are going to reveal the next generation Corvette!
Just wondering if tomorrow we take a giant step forward, or whether we have to wait until October 13/14 at the Petit LeMans race for Tadge to make such an announcement?
