Today’s “Corvette Today” Podcast

Steve Garrett talks with Adam Boca, the National Corvette Museum supervisor for insurance.  Adam explains the advantages of insuring your exotic or Corvette through the NCM...which includes setting a predetermined value for your car, in case of a disaster.  All this for about the same cost as a "big box" insurance company. OK, you bought your Corvette dream car-now you have to insure it. But don't go to a traditional "big box" insurance company.  Insure your Corvette (or exotic car) through the National Corvette Museum

Ten weeks will be mid May. And there is a 2020 C8 in the picture. I think clues are beginning to pop up.

I would not count on the reveal in May or more heartache is probable. We already have had more than enough heartache, starting with last August’s Pebble Beach, then Laguna Seca, then SEMA, then the LA Auto Show, then NAIAS, then the Chicago Auto Show, currently the Geneva Auto Show.

In fact, we also learned and exclusively reported the car had been delayed six months due to electrical issues.

When will the mid-engine C8 Corvette show up? Likely summer of 2019, according to our sources close to the matter. GM Authority can confirm a major auto show will not star the debut of the highly anticipated sports car. Instead, look for the mid-engine Corvette to have its own standalone reveal.
