Very Nice, Wouldn't those lights need to be raked back up a tad?

All the feature details are "traced" off a Ring car photo. The shape, size and position of the headlamps are exact. Some small adjusting/mirroring was made to get a dead on straight image and remove the camera distortion but it is very close.

Absolutely gorgeous is all I can say. This would definitely rival a lot of top tier performance cars in looks (hopefully it does in performance as well!)

FVS as always, outstanding work! I'm really interested to see what Chevy decides to do about the roof, if they will make it body-colored or go with a black/transparent roof like some modern supercars. The 720S has an option to have a transparent roof and I'm hopeful the C8 has the same option, we shall see. Another fun part of these camouflaged cars is we have no idea what body panels will be an actual color and which panels will be black/carbon fiber. I think FVS nailed the front, but it'll be fun to see what was right and what was wrong when the car is revealed.

Thanks...and absolutely. We don't really know how the details will be finally finished and detailed so it will be exciting to see when revealed. Still only guessing at this point.

For the roof. I'm good with the transparent roof as an option. I don't particularly care for them simply because of the extra heat and glare. I have seen some youtubes reviews of other cars where they say even with the AC on full blast, the car does not get cool enough... Maybe just crappy euro AC !... ; )

There still may be a chance of hood vent (s) @ eyewitnesses said there was one. Maybe dual vents similar to the 720/NSX... ?

A family member of mine has a black/semi transparent roof on his 2015 Stingray Z51. It's solid and black on the outside, but once you're inside it is transparent with a blueish tint. I haven't seen many Corvettes with this option though.

I am guessing that for weight reasons, as the carbon fiber standard C7 roof weights several pounds less (I think 5 less) than the translucent option one, and as we know the higher the mass is, the more it messes up center of gravity/handling, that the standard C8 roof would be carbon fiber, and would be body colored.

The translucent roof is a popular (10% take rate) C7 option so guessing we could again see it as a C8 option.

IMO the Corvette is far better looking than the McLaren 720.

The 720S is probably my favorite exotic car, but I think I agree with you on this one, I am very very excited for the eventual reveal!

Regarding the transparent top, pretty much the only thing I would've changed on the C7 if I was running the show would have been to have both the visible carbon fiber roof option and transparent roof option come with the body-color blades down the side, and even have exposed carbon fiber on the halo similar to the sebring orange package on the ZR1:

Just wanted to see what it looks like in both light and dark blue (my editing isn't as good as FVS's lol). I wonder if anyone can find a colour that it does NOT look good in.

PS: If anyone want's to know how I did it so that they can see their preferred colour, I saved the image and went here https://www.imgonline.com.ua/eng/replace-color.php

Awesome! That car looks totally bad as*! Thank you, FVS!

I'm happy to see that FVS is signing his work now.

Great job as usual fvs! That looks fantastic!!

Really is exciting to think that the next Corvette is going to be in the “exotic looks” category IMO.
