I have enjoyed this thread. We have been so starved for any new pictures of the car in the wild. If it were not for FVS and Chazcron, I might have been able to stay away from my way too many daily visits hunting for new info.

I'll take one of each. Me Corvette and ME Cadillac. As long as the Caddy has a Great Gasoline Powerplant in it.

YES, the Cadillac Cien. They sure screwed up by not bringing it into production when it came out in 2002.

They made a HUGE Mistake not bringing the Cien to market. The ELR they went for was a POS. Wait an expensive POS. If they would have brought the Cien with a decent Gasoline Powerplant in it there would have been a whole different story for Caddy. I love my CTS-V but it just doesn't have the look of the Cien

I consider the C7 fob to be "cheap and plasticy." The one for my wife's Honda is much classier looking, has more heft, and the buttons feel more precise. GM uses the same cheap key fob construction for everything from a Chevy Cruze to a Cadillac Escalade.

It's strange that the side that has all the buttons is at a ninety degrees to the Cadillac Crest on the other side

That is very strange, and adds to our questioning its production accuracy.

Who knows maybe a "luxury" version of the C8 is going on. Would be interesting maybe target the older buyers with the Caddy and younger with the C8? Not likely but Caddy is struggling.

That's actually not a bad looking car. Gotta love the lambo doors.

This was actually a story on the local news here in PA that these possible C8 key fob pics were floating around the internet.

Am I the only one who thinks it's a little suspicious that Cadillac would go from a seamless key with no edges to one with hard edge buttons. Makes me believe this is either fake or a "temporary" key for use in prototypes, for which the Cadillac badge is meaningless.

It would actually be really cool if Cadillac did an ultra-high performance, full electric version of the mid-engine C8. I don't really want to see an all-electric Corvette, but I think that a high-tech and super high performance halo car would do great things for the Cadillac brand.
