What do you guys think about this?

I am having a hard time seeing anything other than another existing GM suv. The picture could be any one of the GM’s existing CUVs or SUV’s in my opinion, though camo’d to prevent a clear picture of a “next year version” of one of them. If it were clearer, perhaps I could venture a better guess.
Enjoying my Shadow gray C8. What a car it is.

While to me, the back does look extra racked like the back of a BMW X6, I feel like it's just from too far away to say this is a Corvette SUV, I've also heard that this prototype might also be a sort of CT6 SUV or something like that.

Horrible sketch but the concept of a corvette cuv porsche macan or jaguars ev I pace cuv would be a hige win for gm.

gm doesnt realize how badly damaged the chevrolet brand is damaged.

creating a corvette crosstek jaguar I pace cuv ev would seriously boost sales and prifits not to mention elevate the cherolet brand ..

the blazer ss was good looking but the chevy nameplate and that stupid bowtie badge hurt the potiential?

a lot of women see the chevy nameplate as mundane...whereas the corvette crosstrek would give them the badge to desire...

every guy whose wife drives a cuv would easily put his better half in a corvette crosstek...

porsches macan and even the success of the jaguar i pace are HIGE successes

        huge demand, huge profits

sports cuvs like the jaguar i pace and porsche macan style soft road hot rod cuv s are the new halo vehicles for the manufacturers...

chevy wont do it...they dont see the damage the chevy brand has inccurred ...they live in a slight bubble and think the blazer ss is a halo’d brand...

it is but mot woth surburban women..

now a corvette crosstek ev would be an easy add on sale

id buy one at the same time id buy my new 2seater

GM is raking in hundreds of millions every quarter from the Chevrolet brand, but even more importantly is it growing brand conquest division. Sure there is more work to be done, but not a basket case by far.

Not saying that Chevrolet could not make more money if it were to expand the Chevy brand, but not a mess. In fact, the C7 Corvette made GM hundreds of millions (net) if not a over a billion.

Guys..when america.women.and i.mean those on either coast aren't considering Chevrolet (other tha n thaoe or surburban).because of the brand image...it's then considered in my opinion a.mess...

Great product but it's an issue to not be ignored..

Time.for a Corvette cuv hot rod cuv to help improve the issue .

No. Please No. I'm glad the photo is obscure. No Corvette SUV, No Corvette crossover, No Corvette Station wagon, No Corvette Truck, No Corvette Van, No Corvette scooter, etc. Just let it go. Lets happily move on.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN!!! Fortunately the odds of it happening are slim to none and Slim died. Porsche/Lambo/Ferrari, etc HAVE to do this because its the only way they can get into the marketshare because they don't produce anything but sports cars. Corvette will never turn into a cross-bread truck because GM already has plenty of SUV's, cross-overs, etc to feed that market.

The market today requires upmarket nameplates for manufacturers to secure upmarket pricing. Usually extra hp and or luxury or both is what is offered along with hallowed nameplates.

porxhe has VW and audi and yet there was new market opening by offering even more of a sporting and greater performance with the cayenne and now the macan.

lamborghini also part of the vw group has entered up the Urus model and doubled lamborghini sales in its first year offering.

again vw owns porsche and lamborghini as well as audi

gM executives think as many here do that a trailblazer ss can carry the sports cuv moniker.

all im suggesting is if gm introduces a battery powered awd cuv that larger batteries or more powerful motors labelled as a corvette could be the sister prodict to buick, cadillac, gmc amd yes even the chevrolet brand..

jaguars I pace has done a fantastic job as a halo vehicle for jaguar.

jaguars f pace jas as well...and jagiars sister division lamd rover was known previously as the cuv division and it took quite a long time for jaguar to finally offer a cuv and sales and profits are impressive. Saved the company and the brand. Volumes way up and there was no dilution of the jagiar brand and in fact its never been better.

                      same for lamd rover...

its been a win win for both

gM would do well to win big with a corvette crosstrek..

like i mentioned earlier ..i dont believe gm executives will venture tjat far outside the paradym but they should.

mary Barra might just be the CEO to support this ..

a jaguar i pace corvette branded all electric performance EV would be an amazing halo vehicle for the fastest growing segment around the globe.

                      .

"GM executives think"??? REALLY? GM has no interest in a high performance SUV and they don't have a "moniker". Not sure where you gathered that from. They just don't care because their high SUV volume sales rake in massive amounts of money. And the re-release of the Blazer with an underpowered drivetrain is once again GM saying...we don't care about high performance SUV's. They've never built a high performance SUV and they won't start now. They've NEVER had a high performance SUV "moniker".

Nah. Go ahead and build a high performance SUV, crossover or monster truck. Just don't call it a Corvette. That would dilute the icon.

What im suggesting is porsche faithful and even the automotive press at the time were all against a porsche cuv and surprise surprise...Porsche, a division of vw ,has huge profits and has more momey than ever to fund exciting porsche sports car 911..

purists are happy, the spouses of porsche enthusiasts are happy and GM would do well to emulate that type of success..

id love to lease a new corvette crosstrek for my wife every three years instead of say an alfa romeo stelvio..

im not saying its logical that many women dont want to own a blazer SS or a buick or a cadillac branded product. Im just suggesting i could sell my wife on the idea if a corvette crosstrek easily. When i showed my wife the new blazer SS she liked the looks. When i said it was a blazer SS she didnt seem interested...whereas if it was a corvette crosstrek she would go for it.

this long winded story is not a single issue. It really is widespread in our coastal states from a consumer standpoint.

is it logical? Of course not but its real.

many porsche owners spouses were probably driving cuvs...once porsche branded cuv s became available..the porsche 911 owners went crazy to purchase cayennes and macans...

                            profits skyrocketed..

remember porsche faithful were hating the idea and were outspoken...porsche a division of vw which also owns audi is screaming massive profits and the 911development dollars are readily available..

no dilution of the porsche brand but rather the opposite,

i took my severely handicapped adult child to the demtist today. The dentist who did my first root canal last year took my corvette for a ride up the palasades last year and the next week i had him flying to detroit to get a bright red 2017grand sport manual home that weekend..

guess what...his wife also a dentist in the office who works with soecial needs kids decided she wanted a new vehicle...

guess what she is driving? A white porsche macan that was 20 grand with option more expensive than his corvette grand sport.

had gm offered a corvette crosstrek...she would have spemt that momey for a corvette crosstrek...

I definitely get what you're saying. It makes perfect sense why Porsche/Bentley/Lambo, etc are making SUV's. And they're definitely targeting the women. You're probably right...a Corvette SUV would most likely sell well. I guess I'm just really not wanting the Corvette nameplate and icon to start getting diluted. Now that they're making the ME I guess it wouldn't surprise me if not too far down the road they come up with a Corvette SUV. Would it make sense and sell well? Most likely. But I still wont like it.
