I think what you have been witnessing here in the US recently and all over the world, are the last gasps of The Dinosaurs ... sure they're Big and they're Noisy and they'll not go without a fight, but all will soon be Fossils entomb in their own Rocks. EVs are coming, and anyone in the way will get run over by progress. But not to worry, just because the EV Revolution is coming, that not stopping any of us from buying and driving our ICE Vehicles.

Here in Florida where I live everything is electric. So even if we don't own a EV we will be paying the elevated electrical costs.
Good questions with right answers the raise in electric costs is the happening highest bills ever last two months and I have solar helping as well. So glad it is just one bill.

We are not supposed to talk about politics or climate change deniers etc...so I wont state my opinion on such issues but what I will say is electric cars as cars or better yet fun cars to drive are awesome.

I never thought Id own an electric and on a whim i got one. Its a blast. The attributes of electric cars even as a lover of small block chevy v8 s impress the heck out of me.

the new eray uses a football sized motor and in my opinion reminds me a lot of turbo or superchargers but powered by electrical current.

as battery tech continues to evolve the weight gain will be minimal.

all I can add is the wonderful lack of service needed on the electric vehicle is another great attribute. For me the range thing is a non issue for me. The recharge rate is as well and it just keeps getting faster and faster with each new electric car.

teslas supercharging network is opening up to all brands of electric cars and thats a big win for us too...not that ive ever needed to recharge on the road.

Im moving to a new hospital next month which will be about two hours each way on the highway so the miles will rack up day after day. At that point I will be close to using up all the vehicles range daily so Ill report back how it is going

maybe Ill hate electrics at that point...

either way ill let you guys know the good the bad and the ugly.
