For those who are planning to attend the BASH (Thursday, April 25th-Saturday April 27th), realistic expectations will help you enjoy what is there, but please do not go with expectations of major C8 surprises. I am already seeing on FB and other sites people sure that we are going to see the final C8 (without camo) at the BASH.
Here is the agenda of what you will see:

For those who are going, hope you sign up and we see you be at our annual BASH breakfast.

AT THE BASH however,
We will not see a naked C8 there.
GM staff will be there to answer questions about the C7’s that will be displayed there; however, GM staff will not answer any questions about the C8 that has not been already shared yesterday(e..g, repeating 7.18.19 and probably nothing more. Sure some will try and “sneak” in a question about the C8, but if you do, you will hear, “we do not discuss potential future product.”
However, could there be some small C8 reminders scattered about? I think that is a possibility but please do not go to the BASH expecting anything new to be learned about C8.
What do I mean about a potential C8 surprise? Maybe during GM’s Presentations, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, those seminars which typically include breakdowns of 2019 sales by model, colors and options, might the last screen be a picture identical to one of the official GM photos from yesterday? I personally think that could happen.
I just do not want anyone to travel there, incur expenses do so, and leave disappointed, muttering, “well GM should have shown us something more about the C8.” That is not on the agenda, with only happen with “minuscule probability” — e.g., 0.001%.
Conversely, we are driving from Oregon (our roughly 20th BASH), to see old Corvette friends, talk 1-to-1 with Corvette team members, attend scheduled seminars, and to make new Corvette friends. We are not expecting anything C8, but are still highly excited to see many good Corvette-loving folks!
And if GM has a tiny C8 surprise, that is not-expected, but nevertheless would be icing on the cake. And if no C8 surprises, the event will still bring many smiles to the over 1,000 already registered.
