Another American Made Mid-Engine Sports Car Well Into The Pipeline

ARIA Group came out with an updated press release today of the two mid-engine hype sports cars. The California based company has more than 20 years of building high performance cars for customers. They decided to put all of the experience into their own mid-engine car. Here is some information from their site

Thank you Jeff. That is a beautiful car. They had either a cousin or that identical car at the LA Auto Show. Surprise to us all, the tailights were C7 tailights that literally had their top inch taken off. And while we all drooled over the car, the price tag was in the ballpark of $1.4M.

That is one nice looking car to me. Wow. 240+ mph. Love to ride or drive it and since price says "upon application", I know I'm out.

Their booth representative was very coy about pricing, in fact while friendly, outright refusing to answer our multiple pricing requests (we loved that car and must have doubled back to see it in the main lobby about three times even before lunch). At 2:00 PM on our last trip by, there was a new booth rep, who while also not willing at first to share it price, finally said, “well about $1.4M, but we will talk pricing when you are ready to order.”

The price isn't surprising in that they are limiting production across both versions to a total of 400 cars globally, and each car will be fully bespoke to each purchaser.

7-spd dual clutch. I vote = yes! Put a Corvette emblem on it and move the decimal point on the price. Like!

FE is 2998 lbs. FEX is 3350 lbs. The difference of 352 lbs. is interesting.

Humm, good idea I think Weight difference includes batteries, electric motors and lighter materials used in FEX.

740 hp. 700 lb. ft of torque. A DCT. ME. 3k lbs. And 3.1 second 0-60. Those numbers don't add up. Should be a 2.5 sec sprint.
