    CEL came on

    Hi , I have a 2022 Stingray HTC ( non z51 ) never had any issues until yesterday when my CEL came on . I have 3200 miles . Car drives fine but I won’t drive it until my dealer looks at it on 5/17. The codes are all transmission related . The codes are P2777 , P0868 , P2855 , P0700. Any ideas what the issue might be ? I hope I don’t need a new transmission. I looked underneath my car , I see no leaks . Thank god it’s still under warranty. I love the car and hopefully it’s nothing major .

    Hopefully, a replacement tranny is unnecessary. However, from reading others experiences both on this board and from discussing this issue to other C8 owners, GM has preferred to replace rather than repair transmissions when CEL’s start populating the DIC. While we hope that’s not the case for you, you can rest assured in knowing that even if it does result in replacement, you’ll have many days of enjoying your C8 in your future.

        Most often it is a software update or a simple fluid flush. Let us hope yours is in the same vast majority which one of those two things fixes it fully. Please report b ack after your dealer visit.

            Hi John , I get into the car today to go to my dealer appointment and no CEL . I went anyway and they did see the codes in the memory . They said maybe a fluke but if it comes back no appointment necessary just bring it back . Car still runs fine , like it always did before the CEL came on . Just wanted to give you an update . Thanks !

              Thanks for the update. Here is to not one CEL of any kind on your car from now out.
