With altitude restrictions there is no reason to share any air space. They could be restricted to flight over roadways for example.
And I've seen my fair share of idiots in flight. They practice their emergency landings over the farms beside me and some are well below 200 feet. Last year one flew less than 100 feet over my house scaring the bejeebers out of us. 😜

I'm just happy that most of us are going to live long enough to have the opportunity to actually see these come into reality.
I'm going to find out more details on this one. Can learn to fly in 5 minutes and no special license required. I may be a player - looks like loads of fun, even though limited flight time.

Yes, you can get on a list at several companies with a healthy deposit, but only one has received a "special airworthiness certificate" (SAR) from the FAA, and that was only recently (July 2023). A SAR means it can only be used for exhibition and R&D purposes, not every day use. It's going to be quite awhile before these become common, and a lot could happen to delay them for a decade or more.

A lot of start-ups are working on these, and with the expense of bringing one to market and achieving an unrestricted airworthiness certificate (which is a very expensive, tough, and long-haul process for rather obvious and very good reasons), the expense of the FAA certification process alone will likely to force many to cease operations. Those with deposits down likely won't get refunds.

I was in the aviation safety business, until just recently, for more than 40 years with a lot of contacts, and I'm not aware of a single major aircraft manufacturer who is interested in developing such a vehicle.

In my life time, I see these as nice Toys for the Rich, but never a serious safe transportation solution for the general public.

We have way too many issues to resolve with Ground Transportation.

                    THANKS Foosh for that article

The Jetson One - Which is a EVTOL Vehicle has already had 2022 deliveries sold out and 2023 deliveries sold out and are now taking deposits of 8K for the 2024 models.

                    PERSONAL EVTOL USE
One way to get eVTOLs in the sky quicker is to certify them for personal use. The certification process for non-commercial aircraft is less rigorous and can usually be accomplished in a month .

The Model A which you speak of that had certification from the FAA is $300K - I'm not that into it. LOL
                    HOWEVER it's pretty special -
Alef Automotive said that its vehicle/aircraft, dubbed the “Model A,” is the first flying vehicle that is drivable on public roads and able to park like a normal car. It also has vertical takeoff and landing capabilities. It apparently will be able to carry one or two occupants and will have a road-range of 200 miles and a flying range of 110 miles.
