NEW TIME: 10am - 2:00 pm LOCATION: Lambeth Legion, 7095 Kilbourne Rd, London. The Corvettes of Western Ontario is hosting their 6th annual Crown Vettes show to be held on Sunday May 28, 2023 on the Lambeth Legion grounds, 7097 Kilbourne Rd, London, from 10 am to 2:00 pm . The Lambeth Legion offers both pavement and a tree lined lawn for the parking of your baby. The Legion is located just minutes north of Hwy’s 401 and 402...straight north on Colonel Talbot Road to Kilbourne Rd. The Legion Ladies will be firing up their BBQ at 11:00 am, and will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries until show close. The Legion bar will be open . Proceeds from food and bar sales go directly to the Legion. The Legion building will be open to our attendees, offering indoor washrooms, air conditioning, and shelter from the heat and/or rain (heaven forbid). There is also a large outdoor covered patio from which you can view the sea of Corvettes parked just beyond. We will have lots of door prizes, 50/50 draw and (new this year) a silent auction...with proceeds supporting War Amps. Our show will go, rain or shine – no rain date. If it rains, the cars get wet, but the people stay dry thanks to the air-conditioned hall and covered patio. Thank you for considering us for your next Corvette experience. Hope you can join us! We had 200 Vettes, great show, great weather and raised a lot of money for our charity War Amps helping Child Amputee (CHAMP) services made up 20% of program costs in F2020. Through the CHAMP program, War Amps provides comprehensive support to child amputees and their families. This includes funding to buy prosthetic limbs, educational sessions, parenting resources, and peer support programs.
The Adult Amputee programaccounted for 10% of spending in F2020. Its goal is to help fund the purchase of artificial limbs for adult amputees, as well as providing them with informational resources.
