Such was also the case recently when he created this 'Ford GT 500' project, a daring mix of Ford's GT mid-engine supercar and the outgoing S550 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500high-performance muscle car.

Frankly, although this is pretty obviously merely wishful thinking and also an outrageous CGI mashup at heart, it's also not bad at all. Imagine it on the streets and at the track – both on winding courses and the quarter-mile dragstrip, ready to duke it out with the 670-horsepower C8 Chevy Corvette Z06. And just to be sure it wins all battles, may we also suggest swapping the 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 for the supercharged 5.2-liter Predator V8?

With GM and Ford making an attainable ME alternative America would be on the map as an exotic car source. Chrysler had a sharp, stillborn ME concept.

I would hope that ChatGPT would have been a lot smarter and more clear than that mish-mosh piece. It would have known that Ford conquered the "Old Continent's heroes" with the it's first mid-engine race car (GT40) with 4-in-a-row, first-place overall wins at Le Mans from 1966-69. The second gen appeared in 2005-06, and the third in 2016.

That piece acted like a mid-engine American sports car was some kind of new thing with the C8.
